Our Story: Family, Community, and Sports

The inspiration behind Otzzy is deeply rooted in our love for youth sports and the unforgettable memories they create. It all started with a simple, heartfelt desire to preserve those memories—not just in our hearts, but in a tangible, interactive, and lasting way.

For Robin and Tim Emerick, Jr., the founders of Otzzy, their inspiration hit close to home. As proud parents of two boys, both of whom are deeply involved in sports, Tim wanted a way to relive and share his children’s achievements with friends and family in a unique and meaningful way. He envisioned something beyond the usual photos and videos—something that could capture the excitement of the moment and keep those memories alive for years to come. 

How the Otzzy Name Came About

The name “Otzzy” itself is a tribute to Tim and Robin’s two sons, Otis and Ozzy. By combining their names, they crafted a brand that celebrates their children’s love for sports while also capturing the essence of family and togetherness Otzzy stands for.

Both founders were born and raised in Renovo, Pennsylvania, with a family history in the small rural town dating back to their great-grandparents. Their commitment to Otzzy is not just about creating a business; it’s about contributing to the community that shaped them. By bringing Otzzy to life in Renovo, the company is dedicated to helping breathe new life into the town they call home.
